Hi, I have a macbook and all of the software updates mention windows. Does any one else have a F5x with a macbook and which software version were you able to download?
Does your watch mount as a "Garmin" drive on your desktop? I'm using an iMac, running 3.22 on the watch (just use the Windows installation instructions) but when I open Garmin Express, it still shows at 2.90)
hello, yes there is a garmin drive on my desktop when opened but I can't even get version 2.9 in the express app on the mac only 2.2. I will have to play around with it tonight.

Not sure why I can't get 2.9 in express.
Mine took a while to update from 2.40 to 2.90 in Express, I initially kept getting errors and it wouldn't let me update. I think I disconnected and restarted my watch and then let it stay connected for a while and then it worked. If it doesn't work, don't worry, just add the update files as directed in the instructions, when you eject the watch, you should get an "update software" notice on your watch face. The only thing you really need Express for, is to add a wireless network.

There a no updates in Garmin connect either.

Download the updates from this forum and apply them to your watch.
Works fine on Mac.
