Replacement f5 and running dynamics dropouts

I'll post more info and some photos when I get chance but for now here's a very brief summary of what's been going on.

So I bought an f5 Sapphire from Cotswold online uk. I returned that because of dropouts in running dynamics data. I've just replaced it with an f5 silver and I'm seeing the same dropouts. I'm using the f5 with an hrm-run, the red one.

I'll post some more thoughts about the differences between the two and some photos of the silver with the leather band when i get chance.

At the moment I'm trying to decide if I can live with these issues or if I'll switch to a 935.

Took it out for a run this morning and all was good. The gps track looks great, instant pace was great and there were no Running Dynamics drop outs.

I can however still make the Running Dynamics data dropout by dropping my watch arm by my side when I'm running.

At the moment I've contacted Garmin about the issue but I think I'll keep the watch regardless. I don't think I could live with a 935 and at the end of the day this issue isn't a deal breaker for me.

If people are interested in seeing a silver f5 with the leather strap I can post some photos of it.
