Pairing with second smart phone/device

:confused:

My 5X successfully paired with my personal iPhone as advertised. The manual says you can "hold LIGHT and select phone icon to manually enter pairing mode." I've tried this in order to pair with another device (iPad) and it does not work. Have tried holding down light while pressing select (start button) but to no avail. Has anyone been able to enter pairing mode manually as described in the manual?

Have you tried going into "Settings>Phone>Pair Phone"? It's there even when you are paired to something else. The "hold light" bit really only controls your BT once you are paired to a singe device (your iPhone in this case), so you can turn on/off BT, etc.... It's kind of a quick access thing.

As far as I know, it's not possible. (only one device at the same time)
