Intensity Minutes not showing

Did a search but couldn't find anything for 5 related.

I noticed my intensity minutes haven't been recorded for the last couple of weeks. Rest of data - like HR etc, are all recorded fine so its not sensor related.

I usually ride 1-2 hours several times a week. Heart rate is in the zones - usually well in the zones. :-/

I did notice my 'recorded' weight was set completely wrong last night - 22lbs instead of 220 - so hoping it was something silly like that. Will find out today.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen that. I saw in some of the other posts (for other devices) that sometimes its firmware related or just an issue that seems to occur from time to time.

Mick,
  • They're back since I corrected the weight! I guess I entered the wrong value when I lowered it slightly and didn't notice!

    Mick,
  • No intensity minutes after moving from F3 to F5X

    Mick,

Same problem here but my weight is correct. I just moved from the F3 which was recording silly numbers of intensity minutes since the last software update (last week over 2100 minutes for a fairly active week that would have given a few hundred a year ago). I now have no Intensity Minutes on the F5X for two days despite doing the same amount of activity. . It would be nice if Garmin explained exactly how the intensity minutes feature works and which fields it uses to calculate with HRM on and HRM off. Would also be nice if the feature was consistent across models. I have a relatively low resting heart rate and suspect it may be something to do with that as i now have the HRM on the F5X. I've tried lowering the HR zones but it appears to have made no difference.

Mine has been fine since I put the weight back. I'm guessing that is in the calculation is does too - along with HR. I also noticed my step count target started to climb a lot since I did that too! Unless it was just 'easing me in'. Sounds like one for support for you.
