System Sounds auto reset

Hi all,

on my Garmin Fenix 5, the System Sounds auto reset after a while.
I activated Vibration, and it works for a couple of Minutes. After a short period of Time however, Vibration is turned off.
The same is true for all other Sound Options available in the System Settings Menu.

Has anyone experienced the same Issue, or is this already a know Issue?

Try setting your preferred system settings in the Garmin Connect app on your mobile instead of on your watch. There seems to be an issue where system settings set on the watch will be overridden by the settings in the app. This may explain why the vibrations are turned off after a while => the watch sync with the app and all your changes in the settings are lost.

Good catch!

I checked all available Options in the App (on Android), but they are set to "Vibrate". Same as I configured it on the Watch. Still, they will be overwritten. Something else must be happening here.

I have the same problem as to mine is set to sound during non movement (MOVE! alert), it gets reset to beep when i indicate on my watch to be vibrate only. Will check the app on what I configured there and test it.

my Problem was solved after i had to Hard Reset my Watch after it was stuck in a LiveTracking Session.
Since the Rest, it only Vibrates - as desired.
