5X Owners Please Post your Wrist Size and Pics!

I have an F3. My wrist size is 6 3/4" until I open my hand all the way and it swells to about 7". Athletic forearms. I think the F3 looks good, but I'm torn between the 5 and 5X. I would like to like the F5X in order to use the quick fit bands on my F3, maybe as a "beater" if I keep it.

Here is a pic of me testing the F5, and my F3 next to it:

Please tell me your wrist size and show me a pic wearing your 5X if you can!

Thanks!
  • I'd ordered myself a metal band (also have a leather on order) and it came today.

I had to remove a full 7 links from it to get it to fit lol; leaving just 1 link left that can "officially" be removed. That's on my 6 inch wrists.

Little tweak then to the clasp position and it fits like a dream but for anyone with smaller wrists like me considering getting the metal band just be aware that you will have to remove about £60 worth of links out of the £160 rrp band.

Good to see, thanks. I have a cheap Amazon watch repair kit. I read each link has pin and sleeve. Did you have any trouble assuming you sized the bracelet yourself?
  • For what it's worth, I came from the F3 to the 5x and there is no discernible difference in size/weight/feel/appearance on my wrist

That's what I'm guessing, but with published width differences and no ability to see one locally I was looking for help. Thank you.

Yeh the links contain a removable pin sleeve and then the pin.

I also bought a little pin removal tool which did the job well; no issues doing it. I did a rough guestimate on size and removed some of the links, erring on the side of caution initially and then checked it and had to remove a couple more links and slightly change the pin position in the clasp.

It fits surprisingly well; tight enough so it doesn't move around and the HR sensor works fine but not so tight to be uncomfortable.

Excellent. Thank you. Haven't decided on 5 or 5X, but either way getting the metal band option because I think the slate grey finish will hold up better than the black finish.
  • Ordered 5. Returned it. Ordered 5X

I ordered the 5 from REI. Got it last night. It was comfortable and nice. The screen size as a larger % of diameter was nice. Liked it, but decided I prefer the size of the 5X. And in any case the 5's bluetooth would not stay connected to my iPhone 7+. Even after upgrading 5X to latest OS and iPhone is same. Even in close proximity I was getting disconnected alerts. Back it went to REI today. Ordered the 5X. We'll see........
  • Here's one!

Good fit. What size is your wrist?
  • it's 6.750" I had to remove five links from the band.

Thanks. My resting wrist size exactly. Swells to closer to 7" when opening hand wide. Even looks like my arm--skin tone, dark black hairs, veins on hand.....lol.
