Screwdriver type for fenix 5

Torx T4, just tried it yesterday.

Are you really sure? I am abroad and don't have tools with me, but I am very very sure to remember that I used Torx 5 screw drivers to replace the band.
Can anyone confirm?

You're absolutely right, it's T5, but apparently T4 works too as I am 100% sure that's what I used yesterday :rolleyes:

I use a torx 6 on my f3 sapphire and f5s sapphire band pins.

Out of the 62 piece security bit set on this page the T-6H and T-5H bits would turn the screw.

I just got my Fenix 5 and was also looking to put on an existing leather strap (normal type, not quickfit). How do you undo the torx screws as the bar just seems to rotate - do you need two torx screwdrivers, one for each side simultaneously to grip the other side? Or am I missing something? Thanks...

Usually the general rule is to use largest size that fits to not mess the screw heads. Right size is T6 as T7 won't fit anymore (tried different sizes).

Apparently you can still turn the screw even with a T4.

And yeah you'd need two to keep it from rotating.
