Maybe I've missed something... but I'm struggling to drop a course onto the 5X and then to easily ride along it.
Here's what I am doing..
1) Draw a simple course in Strava's route creator.
2) Export that as a gpx
3) Drop that into the NewFiles folder on the 5X
Then when I am ready to ride:-
1) Start button
2) Select activity (bike)
3) Long hold of up button
4) Navigation -> Courses -> Select course I've just dropped into NewFiles -> Do Course
The problem I've got is that as well as showing me the course - it is showing me every course point along the way - numbered 001, 002, 003 etc. As I'm going along the course it is showing me distance to each of these and then beeping/vibrating when I get to each one. If it's a twisty bit of the course and the course creator has had to drop lots of these then the watch can be constantly beeping. When I do the same process on my Edge it doesn't show up these 001, 002, 003 points and I can just ride along the course with it showing a distance to the end.
Has anybody come across this? I've got the routing options set to Activity: Cycling and Courses: Follow Course.
Same result if I create a course in Garmin Connect and then send it to the watch. Same result also creating a course in dynamic.watch and sending it to the watch.
