- iOS app: sign out > delete the app and data > download and sign in.
No need to delete the app - just go there under menue "devices" and swipe to the left on the device thats should be deleted - it appears a delete field...
I have the same problem for two F3's that I've sold. They're gone from Garmin Express, they're not in "My devices", nor anywhere except in the iOS version of Garmin Connect. There's no way to delete them, swiping left/right/up/down etc has no affect, and there's no menu to do anything on the screen except "add device". These seem to be ghost remnants that somehow when I deleted them, I didn't follow the right procedure. Any help?
What ChevronLugs suggested above worked for me
Oh boy, this is a fun one.
- https://my.garmin.com/mygarmin/customers/myUnits.htm (if you're not already signed in, click the link again after doing so)
- Garmin Connect: hamburger menu > click on the word "Devices" > all devices registered to GC will display here. Click the gear and remove.
- Garmin Express: remove from there
- iOS app: sign out > delete the app and data > download and sign in.
You'll also want to remove the devices from the Bluetooth section in iOS.
I just tried that on some devices that are registered in GC, but not currently connected to my phone; no left swipe, thus no delete field. Are you on Android or iOS?
iOS... eventually its not possible for you, because you removde the device (according to your instructions) before in GC and in your Garmin Acc (device list)...I'm on iOS as well, and no matter what order I removed things, be it website, Express, app, nothing worked until removing the mobile app along with data. It seems Garmin is caching those former connections within the mobile app and only a deletion of app and data does the trick.
Actually i have my F5 added as normal and i've the "swipe-to-delete" option within garmin connect app on my iPhone...
