Please send all bug reports to [email protected], and indicate which model of the fēnix 5 series you have in the subject line.

Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience. :)

2.96 Change Log Notes:
• Added support for a new app, 'Boating'.
• Improved the responsiveness of steps auto-goal.
• Improved the power controls menu and introduced a ‘disabled’ state for connected features like Find My Phone, Music Controls etc. These applications will no longer disappear from the power controls menu, when the user has lost connection to the Garmin Connect Mobile App.
• Improved the lap times accuracy reported by the Stopwatch.
• Fixed a potential issue, where ‘Music Controls’ would intermittently lose connection with the smartphone.
• Fixed an issue, where the device could crash when attempting navigation to a nearby location with all GPS enabled profiles disabled.
• Fixed an issue, where the watch would incorrectly report that GPS signal was lost, while using UltraTrac.

Thanks for all the info and the great work the devs do. Very informative. I'm sure this will be rectified soon.

Same issue on 2.95 with the Stryd paired as a footpod only with the Stryd connect IQ running it went through a LOT of power on the watch. I'd charged it earlier in the week right before my race on Sunday with no runs in between.

I didn't note what the power was prior to the race but 2:40 later it was down to 30%.

It's been 27 hours since the race and it's only down another 5%.

A 2:40 run yesterday went through at least 50% power on the watch.

A. Fenix 5x consumes excessively battery - 20% while on 50min activitiy.

I have noticed and can confirm the same issue on 2.96 with Stryd configured as a footpod only (not as a power meter). I use the Styrd Connect IQ data field for visualizing and recording power.
I have not experienced the other issues mentioned above.

Would you mind writing this as an email to the beta team?
I would guess we are in better luck for a fix that way.

• Barometer history

I noticed that barometer history is stored only for 12h, if i set the plot line for more than 12h i always have a flat line, or better if i set for example 24 history i have 12h flat line and last 12h correct.

no problem here - be aware that changing the plot setting to less hours will loose the history of already recorded hours which go beyond the new limit

I didn't know it...
