F5 Silver

Does anyone have a F5 Silver with either a metal band or leather strap?? I'd be keen to see it!

Is this the Slate Gray Stainless Steel band? Looks a lot more polished/brushes than I expected based on the marketing photos.

No, it is not the Slate Gray. This is the newer brused stainless. Honestly, I bet Garmin will release a Silver Sapphire F5 wih this band in the future. The Slate Gray is the standard band that comes with the F5 that currently ship with a metal band.

No it's the recently introduced stainless (so essentially silver) band that Garmin have released in conjunction with the Quatix 5 model, which is basically a silver Fenix 5 with blue accents.
There's photos of the Slate Grey Steel band elsewhere and it is definitely darker and less polished.

There's photos of the Slate Grey Steel band elsewhere and it is definitely darker and less polished.

I like it quite a bit but the black of the lugs/case contrasting with the silver bothers me ... dunno but don't think it works as well as the all silver look of your victorinox. This is the main reason i went for the slate instead of silver even through the bezel durability of the silver would be better in the long run.

Silver screws

Armughan, just to clarify the F5 Sliver has silver screws in the bezel. The quatix 5 has black screws in the bezel.

Silver F5 with brown leather band

Got the brown leather Garmin strap too. Swapped the black buckle on the leather band for my Silver F5's silicone strap's silver buckle, like others have done.

I like the matching look.

So i have now got the silver with the leather band and swopped out the silver buckle onto the leather as you suggested and it looks superb.

Although i have now just scratched the bezel... Gutted. How are your silver bezels holding up?

Bugger. How bad is the scratch? Happy to share a photo?

I scratched the brushed metal bezel on my f5s, and managed to brush it out without too much issue.
