F5 Silver

Does anyone have a F5 Silver with either a metal band or leather strap?? I'd be keen to see it!

Those shots are awesome. Thanks for that! I was afraid the grey body was very grey, similar to the f5s aqua. Doesn't seem to be the case (no pun intended!)

So I finally received my leather band today.
It came with the tools that allow you to swap out non-quickfit bands like the standard band on a 935.
That gave me the idea to swap out the buckles. It looks much nicer with the silver buckle from the granite blue watch band IMO.

This is great as I plan to use the leather band as my everyday strap and I'll swap out to the silicone band for exercise.

I thought to do this but the buckle screws looked completely different... will definitely do this.

Like carl.andersson I also swapped out the buckles from the blue & leather straps. Looks much better for both the F5 Silver as well as the 935.

Stainless steel band

Does anyone have a F5 Silver with either a metal band or leather strap?? I'd be keen to see it!

My stainless steel band finally arrived. Had it on order for about two weeks with no movement from Garmin. Called Garmin customer service, they had five in stock. Customer service rep emailed the inventory lady and asked her to ship me one, and they did.

Used my watch tools to remove the links myself. Was easy.

I ordered the stainless steel band from Garmin about three weeks ago. The order hadn't shipped, so I called into customer service. The rep informed me they had five stainless steel bands in stock. The rep offered to email the inventory lady and ask if she would ship me one. Garmin did ship me the band, I adjusted the size using my watch tools myself. Everything was easy.

Oh man that's cool! Only 5 units in stock?!? I guess that's why it's not available in my local country garmin store yet.... :(

Is this the Slate Gray Stainless Steel band? Looks a lot more polished/brushes than I expected based on the marketing photos.

No it's the recently introduced stainless (so essentially silver) band that Garmin have released in conjunction with the Quatix 5 model, which is basically a silver Fenix 5 with blue accents.
There's photos of the Slate Grey Steel band elsewhere and it is definitely darker and less polished.
