Are you aware neither of those are a sapphire model? The giveaway is the red triangle at the top and red accent on the start button.

Pretty strange thing to say Chevron. The flagship F5 & F5X are both slate grey with red triangle and sapphire screens.

Wait, is it an f5 sapphire with metal band? If so, that's correct and my bad. Seeing them without the metal band threw me off.

Finally got my hands on my Silver and Leather band...

Initial thoughts; wasnt too keep on the color lighter brown shade but it quickly grew on me... I really dig it... Although I do wish there was a darker (ala Fenix 3) shade available. I do wish the clamp was a brushed to match the bezel.

Put the leather band on the F935 for this post but actually did it quite a bit.

Very nice! Thanks for the photos. Are you keeping both the 935 and the 5?

Some quick thoughts:

- The Silver looks fine with the black buckle of the leather strap since the silver's watch case and lugs are still black/dark
- Personally what I don't like about the silver is the orange accents from 12 to 3 -- what is the purpose of that?
- The 935 looks great and would be perfect perhaps but for the plastic and embossed button labels (Light/Up/Down/Start/Stop/Back).

Yes - I much prefer the weight and feel of the 935 for recording activities.

The pics are somewhat deceiving as the case on the Silver is not quite as dark as the leather bands strap... Not terribly noticeable but still...

I'm assuming the accent is purely aesthetics. It doesn't bother me much. I actually kind of like it. Especially with the leather band.

Agreed - would look "nicer" but as a primary workout device its perfectly fine for me.

Yes - the casing is slightly lighter than the black band. It's not very noticeable unless it's well lit. Even in office lighting it's a bit hard to tell.... or at least in photos.







At a glance you really cant tell so it doesn't bother me at all.
