Some notifications not showing on watch

Hello,

I have a weird problem. Few days ago I added 3 apps into the Smart Notifications sections so that I receive them on my watch. Ever since, only one of them (Nine app) is showing constantly. The other two (Clash Royale and Chrome) show up only once a day maybe.
I think they appear only when my phone is unlocked, but not sure.

With my Gear S3 there's no problem at all...

Have you guys experienced similar behavior with any apps?

This might be a dumb question but how did you add apps to your notifications?

In Garmin Connect, open Settings -> Smart Notifications -> Top right corner (the three dots) -> Add

Sorry, I'm looking for how your instructions are but I don't see smart notification after going into settings. I only see notification not smart notifications? I also went into where the three dots are and I get a choice to delete. This is on the phone app correct ?

?? I have the latest update and don't have that smart notification option, I only have notifications?? I have an iPhone , I think that is it, you must have an Android?

I struggled to find it at first. Go to the garmen connect settings. Don't go to the fenix 5 device settings within that app.

To the OP, I added hangouts to get smart notifications and it also did not notify me on the watch. Wonder what gives.
