For Power meters, do you get option to prompt for calibration as in other Garmin?

Garmin Edges do have option to enable power meter calibration prompt when sensor connect. Didn't have it on my Fenix 3 HR... Wondering if they implemented it in 5s?
  • I do not get that auto message with TACX Satori Smart but I see there is an option available in the watch for that if I remember correctly.
  • My Edge 1000 never prompts me to calibrate. But on the F5 if you are in a bike and have a power meter, you can press and hold the menu button and calibrate power meter is one of the options (unlike the Fenix3 where it was buried)

On edge 1000 you need to go to sensor setting for the sensor detail and you will have option to enable it per power meter. (I have few at home and configure it as needed).
I am wondering if Fenix 5 have it like that... going to detail, and selecting option per sensor.
  • I never new that, nice to know! That would've been nice with my old Power meter. I've found I don't need to calibrate the P1 pedals which auto-calibrate as you ride.

I will take a look at the options when I'm connected to the P1s again. Right now I don't have any options and won't be near the bike for some time.
