Hey guys just wondering which is better to get HRM RUN or TRI?

So I currently have a Fenix 5x and mainly does GYM, running and pool swimming. I'm just wondering will the HRM RUN be decent during workouts in a gym environment? That it's not too big that it will hinder your movement or just feel awkward during bench. I want to grab the TRI but they said it's bad on a pool environment which is why I'll probably opt out on the run as it gives more metric that I can actually use.

The reason why I want to grab one is to do the HRV Stress which requires a strap.

Cheers guys, stay healthy :)

The HRM Run/Tri will be ok at the gym (you will barely feel it at all just careful with chest press as if the iron bar hits the transmitter you could smash it) but neither is good in chlorine water... so for swimming you should get the HRM Swim.
I have tried the TRI in the pool and it slips off while the HRM swim is perfect for the job.

    I complete agree with Z-74!

    HRM swim for pool swimmimg.
For gym I also use the (old) HRMrun 2. The advantage is that you can disconnect the sensor and wash (or replace) the strap keeping the sensor.
    HRV measurement works well.
The newer HRMrun (blue) has the sensor fixed attached to the strap.
