I've had my Fenix 5S for about 4 days and am pretty happy with it, but I am concerned about the sleep tracking. I've set my normal sleep hours to 12am-8am, but that's just an approximation since it usually varies quite a bit. For the past three nights it starts sleep tracking as soon as I wind down (e.g. get in bed and start browsing social media) as opposed to when I actually fall asleep (which could be an hour later). Also, last night I set an alarm for 7:30am this morning - of course it never buzzed since 7:30 is within my "normal sleep hours" and I have Do Not Disturb on during those hours (that was my fault, but let that be a lesson to others!). So I completely slept through 7:30 without a twitch, but the watch has that as my waking up time for this morning...presumably because it thought the alarm woke me up?
Anyway, I hope I am doing something wrong, because the sleep tracking is pretty disappointing after upgrading from a $100 Fitbit. I realize they use different technologies, but surely a $700 watch can't be THIS inaccurate for sleep tracking. Any insights would be appreciated!
