Random Alert during activity

Sometimes while on a run my watch will random vibrate like I have an alert, I check the watch, nothing there. Bluetooth off and all other alerts off step goal/strair goal/phys metrics/HR alerts/pace alerts/Etc

At first I thought it was my watching briefly losing GPS and then getting it back but I have GPS signal set up as a data field and when I check I'm at 100%.

does anyone have an idea?

I could be wrong but I think it does if you've unintentionally clicked the new lap button (bottom right) during a run and at each "lap" it vibrates.

I could be wrong but I know what you're talking about. I think I went through both Garmin Connect phone app and my watch to make sure all of the alerts were off except for phone calls.

I haven't noticed it during an activity, but on both my F3HR and now my F5 I'll just be walking around or even sitting still and maybe a few times per week that'll happen to me too. Just a random vibration; no on-screen notification of any kind.
  • It also buzzes when a reboot happens, so it could indicate a crash. Check for an ERR_LOG in the Debug folder. If there is one there first thing I would do is remove any CIQ apps just in case they are the cause and make sure you are on the latest firmware
