I have been using Garmin watches for running since the Forerunner 10 - but I have never used the watches for indoor running. With the F5 would it be helpful to have a footpod if I were to run on a treadmill (I am training for a 50 mile run and need to take the pressure of my legs, distance and the streets of London do not make a good constant companion) or would I get the same data from the HMR that I have paired with the F5. I have looked around but cannot find any clear advice - so thought I would ask here.
