Ejecting watch from Mac

Does anyone have the problem with having to reboot the watch manually even though I eject it correctly from the Mac ? The watch just freezes until I manually reboot it .

Not Mac, but this happens to me on PC.

I'm not sure if it's permanently frozen, because sometimes it comes back to life after 10-20 seconds or so.
Sometimes I've got impatient and done the manual reboot. Maybe it would have eventually started working again by itself.

I have seen this on my Mac with my 935. Watch locks up after ejecting it and have to reboot. Not every time, but often.

Will this hurt the watch to be rebooted often.

I use a Mac and have not had my F5 freeze-up (yet).

Is it a question of being impatient? Maybe it's doing some 'stuff' in the background and will come back to life after a short while.

I waited 5 min and still had to reboot it manually??

Problem is with Garmin Express

The problem appears to be related to Garmin Express on the Mac (possibly only on 10.12, not sure about that though). Quit GE first, then eject the watch, and you should be fine. Hopefully they'll fix that bug soon.

No issues with my F5 Sapphire, latest GC App and Latest MAC OS.
