Fénix 5x screen flickering

Is there anyone who has this little flicker on the screen? Is seen with any type of light (sunlight or indoor) and with the backlight off on the clock. it's a small flickering, but the screen of my fenix3 is completely fix compared with the screen of the fenix 5x

  • I haven't tried the white background, however whilst using the standard F5 screen with the circles, when viewing the screen from the side as per your video clip I have seen some slight screen burn where the lower circle is.

I have turned down my brightness from 40% to 20% to see if the resolves this problem.

I noticed only with light off

So, having had the brightness turned down to 20% and left it all night, I can no longer visually see the screen burn.

Also, changing the background from black to white does not give me any flickering at all so maybe you have a dud unit that needs to be replaced.

Exact same issue here; perhaps a bit less visible than your video but it's definitively there.....

Same problem here, i've returned the watch to the shop where i bought it in order to investigate it, i'll keep you noticed. If there's a hw issue and every watch has it, then there's a big problem..

I don't understand... you have leaved light on all night and on morning screen flicker disappeared?
  • I also tried to revert back to 2.4 sw version, but the flicker is still here...

No I never had the flickering, however what I did have from looking from the side angle was some minor screen from the analogue watch face lower circle.
