Fénix 5x screen flickering

Is there anyone who has this little flicker on the screen? Is seen with any type of light (sunlight or indoor) and with the backlight off on the clock. it's a small flickering, but the screen of my fenix3 is completely fix compared with the screen of the fenix 5x

I hadn't had the issue till I looked at the watch closer half an hour ago. :D It blinks too, and my F3 doesn't blink definitely...

Well. We will see. I will wait until next software update. if the flickering is not solved I will open a ticket in Garmin support

I noticed this a few weeks ago when it's held at a certain angle. I just assumed it was a refresh thing.

I think that it's a hardware problem. Maybe of the controller chip of the screen or maybe the screen. Low posibilitys that the source of the flickering come from the software

my 5x had exactly the same issue - i returned it within the 14-days period and will try again in a few weeks, when perhaps these problems will be solved...
i also had the serious issue with the USB-cable :(

UGH! I did not notice the flickering before reading this thread - but now I cannot unsee it. I have a white background for my watch face, and it is very noticeable when viewing at any angle. In fact, I now notice the flickering when I am looking at the watch face directly. Unbelievable. It would be nice for Garmin to address this issue ASAP and let us know whether it is hardware or software. I assume that silence indicates a hardware issue. I really would prefer not to return the 5x as I have already traded in my F3HR. Does Garmin have any history with addressing hardware issues?

Mine does also. Looks like it is a white background thing.

I haven't tried the white background, however whilst using the standard F5 screen with the circles, when viewing the screen from the side as per your video clip I have seen some slight screen burn where the lower circle is.

I have turned down my brightness from 40% to 20% to see if the resolves this problem.
