Hi,
what do you people think: Would there be any problems to be expected in combing the Fenix 5 and the newly announced Vivosmart 3? I'd love to get full data on Training Load 2.0, plus the stress data and especially better strength training data.
What I'm thinking about: Wear both units at the same time.
F5 tracks running, cycling, strength etc - all the data Training Load 2.0 needs.
Vivo 3 acts as activity monitor for calories, HR, steps, stress ect.
Special case strength training (which I do 1 to 3 times a week): Tracked same time on both devices, but the one from F5 is being deleted on Garmin Connect -> still in Training Load 2.0, but replaced with the more complete data from Vivo 3.
Any ideas? If this might work, I'm willing to shell out the money for the Vivosmart 3 (already have the F5), but in case this creates more problems than fun I'd rather save the time, nerves and money.
Cheers
Peter
PS: Yes, I know that Garmin is supposed to upgrade the F5 with stress and strength - can't wait 😉
