GPS not working?

Each time I'm loading a map the central point is Garmin Taiwan... It can't locate my actual location, so I believe GPS is not working at all...
Is there any way to test if it's operating?

Have you got a good GPS lock in your current location yet? Take some time to read the manual.

Thanks, you're right! I left my office and went far from it and the I got the lock.

But do I understand correctly that the altitude, temperature etc. are displayed thanks to the GPS location? If so, it seems useless, considering most time is spent at home / office / car. Yes, I know it's the outdoor sports watch :) but still...

If I were you I'd send it back. Clearly it's not the watch that best meets your needs.
