I know a lot of folks are still waiting on their 5x to show up in the mail, but has anybody had any luck finding any of the replacement quick fit 26 straps in stock anywhere?
Fwiw, the MoKo silicone bands on Amazon for $10 are a direct fit, although not quick release. I picked one up. Seems the same quality and feel as my blue silicone band on my Suunto Ambit. It came with two drivers to take the pins apart and took 2 minutes to install.

I had a few of those cheap straps for my F3 and they were nice back before the quick fit stuff came out, but I'm quite enjoying the quick fit stuff being able to change it out between my work band and my sport bands (not to mention the higher quality). I posted the original question a while back, i've since been able to find quite a few of the real quick fit bands in stock and have them now
Here in the UK, the silicone bands seem well stocked but the Leather and Metals are quite rare.
I managed to snag a metal bad from Amazon, which arrived yesterday; and while is absolutely not worth it's price... it is pretty damn nice to see and feel :)
I have a leather one on order too which amazon is saying Arriving 10 May - 22 May.

The quick fit bands do seem to finally start showing up in stock at various retailers. Glad you found what you needed. Didn't mean to hijack your thread, just wanted to note that for those that don't need quick fit, the MoKo's are a low-cost alternative with a wider color selection.

For sure! I'm actually hoping some third party companies start coming out with some cheaper knock off quick fits that aren't $50 and come in better colors... soon enough I guess
They're made for android wear devices but I don't see any reason why they wouldn't work. They work pretty much the same as the Garmin Quick Fit (and cost the same).

Imho, all of these are really ugly. The cheap third-party copies for the 3HR are way nicer, but lack the quick-fit mechanism.
Any 26mm straps will fit the 5X if you're not bothered about swapping them out regularly (mine is on a Panerai Luminor strap).
Just make sure the holes at the top are large enough for the pins to go through. that aside, it won't be long until we can buy off-brand quick-fit straps, so perhaps patience is simply the order of the day.

I have had no luck finding any leather bands for the 5X
Ordered the white one and ponied up the $1.99 to expedite the shipping. 10 minutes later had a shipping notice from China.. so we'll see! If they're anything like the other chinese knock-offs I had for my old F3 it'll work just fine. Can't beat the price vs. Garmin original
