Just received my fenix 5x today, but there's no sign of the golf app, not even an option to add it. Could others check if it's available or am I just missing something obvious?
Just tried it on mine (live right next to a course) and it picked it up perfectly. When you enter the golf app, does it immediately go to searching for GPS signal?
Ya, it searches for GPS and when it gets it, it goes to the "select a course screen" but it just says "no courses available"
That's odd. It's a shame so many different folks have such varying results with some apps/features.. If I think of another possible fix/workaround I'll comment

Im an idiot. I didnt realize the golf maps were on the watch itself. When I got the 5x, I removed some of the maps and installed my own. Once I reinstalled the golf maps the app worked great. I am curious about something.......Shot tracking. I can measure shots but its not asking me for what club I just hit. I have to go into GC after the round and edit each shot which is a pain. Also, I'm not getting hazards and doglegs options. Is anyone else?

Ive got the "measure shot" option. All it does is measure shot distance though. I do not have shot tracking or doglegs, hazards option though.
