Golf app

Just received my fenix 5x today, but there's no sign of the golf app, not even an option to add it. Could others check if it's available or am I just missing something obvious?

Have you updated to version 2.9? I'm hoping you haven't, and if I roll back to 2.4 the Golf app might appear again

I had golf originally, and I have it now.

For reference, I've appeared to have solved this by "Restoring Defaults" in the settings/system menu

I am also having the same problem. I had the golf app at first and now it's gone with no way to install. I've read that "restore defaults" will fix the problem but I really don't want to start from scratch with all my settings.

Restoring defaults definitely fixes the issue, but it is silly this is necessary.

I tried to use the app today and I kept getting "no nearby courses" I had the courses downloaded and I restarted the watch and uninstalled and reinstalled the app and still no dice. Anyone have this problem

Just tried it on mine (live right next to a course) and it picked it up perfectly. When you enter the golf app, does it immediately go to searching for GPS signal?
