Menu Translation - Polish

Hello Users, Hello guys from Garmin.

I believe that I am not only one who noticed Polish menu translation issues - Fenix5.

1. TRAINING STATUS widget: "Semi-English-Polish" translation:

2. LAST SPORT widget: English word STEPS translated to Polish ETAPY - should be Polish KROKI:

" />">

A bit annoying for 3rd version of 600 EUR gear.

Do you know what does it means :" use for 1w.."

Hi Jan502,

" use for 1w.." - use for one week to get proper training load calculation.
I have my F5 for less than week - so no load data yet.

Actually in ver. 2.4 it was fine, 2.9 is responsible for the "use for 1w".

Hi,

Polish Garmin division contacted me yesterday via email.
I was promissed that they will forward my findings to Appropriate department.
Problem has official number now: 1336308.

On F3, I use to accommodate the translation (french in my case) to my convenience ;-) I do the same for the F5 : just edit the french.ln3 (or polish.ln3) file in Garmin/text !

How you did that?
I tried to edit polish.ln3 file with notepad to get rid of mentioned above Garmin mistakes - after saving it on F5 - language was backing to english.
I had to go back to original file.
