how does Strava Segment works ?

Hello

how does Strava Segment works on the Fenix 5x ?

I can't find any menu ? should the phone be connected with the fenix 5 during the activity ?

I tried yesterday, but nothing appair during my workout. ( without phone !)

If you go to Strava and star the routes it will carry across when you connect Garmin Connect to your Strava account.

Assuming that you have your Garmin connect account setup to use Strava segments rather than Garmin segments, you should see them on the watch. You control the segments setting using the configuration cog on the Segments Widget on the web garmin Connect site. Once this shows Strava segments, and you have synced with the watch, go to Run -> Settings -> Training scroll down and you should see a Strava Live Segments menu option which will list all your starred segments plus others which Strava or Garmin think you may like close by.

Assuming you have the segment alert enabled in the run settings, you will get an alert on the watch as you approach a segment.

I wish this was documented in the manual though. Took me a while to work it all out myself as there is no documentation at all.
