How do I keep the time set to one time zone...

Silly question for my brand new watch... is there a setting to prevent the watch from syncing to either the iPhones time or the time zone of the current location with GPS? Basically I want my Fenix 5S to stay on the US Central Time Zone no matter what time zone I'm in because often I switch 3 or 4 times zones in a day as a pilot and from past experience with other wearables it makes a mess of the activity graphs. Thanks!

And if I *DO* allow the watch to change time zones automatically what happens to activity totals like steps and such? For example:

I am in the Eastern time zone late at night and take off headed to Chicago. During the flight a new day begins and I land at 1230 am Eastern time. As soon as the watch updates to the phone it realizes its is in the Central Time zone and jumps back to 1130 pm and hour earlier. What happens to the last hour of data? Do I lose it. See the issues? Thanks.

All you seem to get is a message in GC saying "It looks like you changed time zones. Your readings should make more sense tomorrow", or words to that effect. Same when the clocks go forward/back - nothing clever like a rescaled 23 or 25 hour day, just a gap or lost data depending on which way you go.

I also often change my time zone, but Internationally. This is what have happened to my step count and all; when I travel overseas usually arrive +1 day, whatever activities I got before boarding would be registered as is, then I start over when I laded as the next day. On the return trip, I usually board in the evening and arrive the same day morning in the US. Whatever I had on the watch will be registered as the day activities, but the watch will be reset when I landed. GC Mobile will not gain more steps till my new step count surpass whatever in the system. Sleep track is usually way off for at least 1-day.
