Is there a way to add an older Connect IQ widget to the 5x

Is there a way to add an older Connect IQ widget to the 5x? I want to add one that was developed for the Fenix 3. It's a plain widget that just displays the current atmospheric pressure, not the corrected MSL pressure.

Thanks
  • Contact developer and they can recompile it to make it compatible with 5X. Or you can try copying the *.prg file of the widget.

It depends a bit on how it was written, as the screen size and fonts are different. But if you want pressure, I got a few watch faces that show it (MSL adjusted) including one that shows the full history graph (see my sig). I got a Temperature and pressure widget I might port to the f5 if there is interest (again, graphs, and the baro is MSL adjusted). With the 2.72 FW, all the pressures seen in CIQ are MSL adjusted.

Thanks, I just need the unadjusted barometeric pressure. It'd be nice as a widget. I have some instruments that need to be calibrated to the current unadjusted air pressure.
  • Yeah it's a bit of a bummer; X-WF was my favorite watch face, it has not been updated, and the author has either disappeared or ceased development as he doesn't respond to inquiries.....

Not a hard fix. I created an Activity that I named Baro that has 2 data screens; 1st has 2 fields, Barometric Pressure and Ambient Pressure; 2nd has 2 fields, elevation and temperature. Too bad it doesn't have a depth field.
