Problem with the loading cable

I received my 5x yesterday. Unfortunately I have problems with the loading cable. The connection to the PC is not stable and need to bend the cable slightly at the connector to the watch. Has anyone have similar problems?
Garmin Support will send a new cable and i hope it solves the problem and there is no defect at the connector of the watch.
By the way I am not very happy with the new design of the connector as dirt will get in there quite easy. A plastic cap would be nice to cover it.

The problem seem to be solved.
I connect to another PC without garmin express.
Then to the PC with Garmin Express and the connection is stable.
Also in general settings in GE, both a check mark.

I tried this but in my case unfortunately its not working. The Problems stay the same. I am looking forward to the new cable.
Cross fingers that this will solve the issue and I don´t have to send back the 5x....

intermittent cable connection

Same issue with the connection cable. Let us know if the replacement cable fixes the issue when it arrives please.

I also experienced this few times .... let us know if new cable solves issue - hope is not (another) watch issue.

Maybe this is caused through a little to much tolerance of the usb connector of the computer?

Because some only have probs with one computer and the cable and on another computer it works without probs...

For my watch its in the software of the PC, when I connected to windows 8.1 there is not a single fraction, 100% stable.
But when I connected to Windows 10 its 70% stable, when I move the connector a little then its disconnected,
to try a new cable its the best way to see furthermore!
we'll wait and see what happens with a new cable!

Hello, just receive my replaced Fenix 5X (other one had alti/baro sensor problem), and this one hasn't any problem with charging cable...

It was +4/5 millibar off...

However i noticed that i have more stable connection with USB 2.0 ports instead of 3.0 ports...
