Setting for Strava private activity

Hi there,

I just bought the 5X, came from Polar. In my Polar-settings I was able to make a default-setting for activities to be private in Strava. Is this also possible for Garmin, and if yes how do I do this?

This setting is controlled in Strava for all new activities.

Isn't this something you do within Strava?

Settings -> Privacy -> Private Activities : Make my activities private by default.

Certainly, there is no settings you can control when you connect your Garmin account to Strava to enable auto upload.

No, Polar had this option. I have the same problem here. My Polar-watch activities were uploaded as "Private" in Strava while Zwift- activities were not. I l set it like that on my Polar account and liked it that way. I'm trying to do the same with my Garmin 5X. Seems like there isn't an option for that. So now I need to either have all activity Private by default in Strava or all Public. I find this not good and wish they would add it.Can't be very complicated since Polar offers it.
