No fenix 5/5S with "barometer / Altimeter errors" as for the Fenix 3HR?

Hello everybody,
since it is finally on the market and several of you already had the chance to perform few weeks usage, I think it would be beneficial to understand if any Fenix 5/5S owner is experiencing any altimeter/barometer issue as the ones that are cursing Fenix 3HR model, thoroughly discussed (and, sadly, still unsolved) in this thread. The issues were showing up with crazy readings and trends in both altimeter and barometer, expecially in presence of sudden changes in environmental temperature.

Since i'm considering to switch to Fenix 5 after a full refund for the 3HR, and thinking to be not alone, this would be a precious info to have for all the braves still considering to trust Garmin.

Seen the frequency and the magnitude of the problem for the 3HR, if it was still present in the 5 it should have already showed up, but you never know.

I have had my 5 for 5 days. I haven't had any such issues but was blighted with them on the 3HR I had and also returned for a full refund. Admittedly it's still early days but I am optimistic

Thank you: I'm glad to hear this, I'm really hoping they solved what could be an hardware or software problem (not clear) in the newly came models. Maybe that was a development error, now fixed. The question remains about the 3HR, why they are still selling it with this major and know issue.

    Anyone else could confirm this?
