My old Fenix 3 HR would not buzz or beep when notifications (email, text, calls, etc) came into my phone when it was attached to the charging cable. However, when my new F5 is charging, notifications come in like they normally would if you were wearing it on your wrist.
Why would Garmin change this? Now, every time I plug it in to charge on my nightstand, I have to remember to silence the F5 or turn bluetooth off. Otherwise it will wake me up in the middle of the night when notifications come into my SILENCED phone. It's very annoying. I hope there is a fix or setting for this.
