Note: Please allow for the updates to propagate across all servers. There is no need to post that the link does not work. It will after a bit of patience. :)

Are you sure? It is within the settings for each Activity on the f5.

Ah-ha! You are correct - I came from F3HR and I believe (I cannot check since I sold it) it was a standalone setting within settings.

    Interval training issues

    Interval training issues

    For example:
    In F5 with Sw2.72 set-up:

    Warm-up (until lap)
    10x 1min. interval + 1min. rest
    Cooldown (until lap)

    In Garmin connect:
  • Looks like you have AutoLap set for 1 km for the Activity you used for the Intervals, so data looks basically correct to me for those settings. What is the issue you are pointing out?
  • Is that new in the F5? It's been a while since I've done structured run workouts, but I don't remember auto-lap being active during structured workout. It kind of defeats the purpose of keeping a specific HR/Pace/Power during an interval if it the watch splits up the interval with an auto-lap.

In that vain, I've turned off Autolap for structured workouts.
  • Can say that Autolap works this way in structured workouts on the 735, so may be new for fenix I guess.
  • Are other people still finding that alarms and settings entered on the watch are still being over-written by the older settings in Garmin Connect after sync? At first glance I thought 2.72 had sorted this, but after a few syncs my new alarms and settings had been changed for the older ones in Garmin Connect.

    Hi

I have noticed that my clock settings are back to 12 HRS (AM/PM) mode when set to 24 HRS before.
Also units went back to imperial after sync.

yes...this appears to be a fundamental issue even persisting in 2.90:

it appears there was some oversight in allowing GC to override any settings, no matter how recent, set on the watch. this is especially ugly in he context of Alarms where if you set an alarm on the watch, it will be deleted whenever the watch syncs with your phone/GC device.

i can confirm, this is really stupid behaviour. autolap doesn't make sense in workouts or LTHR test
