Smart alarm

Hi,

I'm thinking of getting a 5S as a replacement for my Microsoft Band 2. The killer feature for me is the smart alarm that monitors sleep cycles and varies the alarm time within a range.

I've seen conflicting reports that this feature exists/doesn't exist on Fenix 5 and 3 HR models — can anyone confirm this for me please?

Garmin is missing an important feature here

Having this as a native function on other health devices including Jawbone and Pebble really puts the Garmin devices at a disadvantage. Garmin is already doing…

It's not on any garmin watches. Sleep on Garmin watches is actually processed by the servers and not the watch itself.

I didn't realize until yesterday that there's a Sleep as Android app in the connect iq store.. I haven't tried it yet (will tonight on my VA HR), but it offers a smart alarm.

Having this as a native function on other health devices including Jawbone and Pebble really puts the Garmin devices at a disadvantage. Garmin is already doing all of the sleep analysis and should use that to fill this serious feature gap.
