5X / Edge 520 incompatible with power meter

I have an Edge 520 and now a Fenix 5X.

Want to use the Edge for rides due to superior display and convenience of starting laps, etc.

But, the Fenix 5X has additional metrics that the Edge does not have.

So, I really want to have both tracking the ride, then only save the ride from the Fenix.

To do this, all sensors need to be paired to both devices. This works fine for external HR monitor, speed/cadence but the PowerPod power meter can not be coaxed to show up on both devices. It works if ONLY the Fenix 5X OR the Edge is used but if both are in Activity mode, the Fenix refuses to display the power level.

Anyone have any ideas? Running 11.10 firmware on the 520.

The powerpod is BLE and ANT+. You haven't got the BLE paired to the 5X which is causing no ANT+ have you? I think BLE is point to point, ie will only work with one device at once, whereas ANT+ will work with many. You can tell if the connect is BLE because the default name is MAC address like and if you go into details it will tell you.
