Data Fields on Native Watch Face

I've enabled the native watch face that has the three circular data fields and I'm trying to figure out what one of the data field options are. One option shows an icon of a person with a green semi-circle around it and on the bottom it says "0 hr." I had presumed this might have been the heart rate, but it always reads "0" for me. Any ideas on what this data field is for?

That icon represents recovery time from the performance data panel.

Is there documentation somewhere of what all the options are? I have searched and been unable to find anything. Like the OP, I assumed this icon was for HR until trying it. Then there is the icon that shows a figure running and "0.0 mi", which I figured was total distance, but it does not change from zero for me, at least on the Walk activity. There are other icons I can't even guess at what they are trying to represent.

I don't think Garmin has done a good job at selecting the options here. I want to be able to show distance traveled and current HR on the watch face, but I have read that this is not possible. Recovery time does not seem to me to be a data field that would be in demand for constant display.
  • The documentation is awfull :
    - no translation of the names in different langages : all translated filed names should be mapped with their English equivalent
    - no description of the menu hierarchy
    - no clear definition of the different fields
    - no descrption of the differents icons
    - some data fileds are here by default but you do not know what they mean (eg : in an interval workout how is calculated the pace shown in figures in the middle vs the gauge around

I use the recovery time field on my watch face. I exercise every day and this can be useful.

The options for the three circle data fields are:
    • Day of the week and date
    • Month and date
    • Number of steps today
    • Number of calories burned today
    • Number of floors climbed today
    • Intensity minutes (this week)
    • Battery level
    • Time of next sunrise or sunset
    • Altitude
    • Barometric trend
    • UTC time
    • Time of your next calendar appointment
    • Number of uncleared notifications on your phone
    • Time until complete athletic recovery (circle is color coded for what kind of training you should do today)
    • Number of miles run today
    • The word fenix

I've bolded the ones I personally have displaying on my watch.
