I know that no one has these things yet except us early adopters, but the issues in 2.40 are pretty well known. Does anyone have an idea or heard when we might get an update?
I suspect the F5 team are really rather busy at the moment. If there was a showstopper, which there isn't, it would be sooner rather than later. I'm guessing they are investigating all the issues people have raised and trying to work out if they are user error or not and then they will try and fix the reported issues.

True enough. Still as we know from the development of other Garmin devices, the FW updates aren't comprehensive but incremental. Therefore I would think they could issue a series of updates as they come up with improvements rather than waiting until they believe they have the perfect FW.
