Any ability to make any modifications to the email/text notifications feature?

I love that Garmin, in general, provides a tremendous amount of flexibility in terms of settings customization when compared to other products out there... so it seems odd that they provide virtually no settings customization for their notifications feature. Yes, you can get texts and emails on your Fenix 5 but I feel that the text is far too large (my vision is still OK could be half the size than what it is and still be readable) and there is no option for the notification to show more than just the sender name and "1 unread message".

Ideally, I'd like to see the sender and the text message on the initial notification. If there are multiple texts waiting on the phone from the same sender, the display should show the sender name and "3 (or whatever number) unread messages".

There should also be a way to increase/reduce the size of the text (at least two font size options) and to remove the annoying "1 unread message" that still displays AFTER you actually press the Start button to read the text. It makes absolutely no sense to show "1 unread message" if you are already reading it.

The notifications feature sorely needs at least some ability to customize it. I'm hoping I'm missing something in settings. Or maybe there is a 3rd party option to give it some flexibility. Any feedback is appreciated.

Even though i don't have a 5, i know what you mean from my experience on the 3. I don't expect the Garmin to have a fully fleshed out notification system but i agree with you that it can use some improvement. Please do what i did (for the 3) and submit a enhancement request. The more people requesting the better chance that Garmin improves it.
