Using the latest version 2.40 on my 5X, I set up a new Activity and added Data Screens to it containing various fields, one screen contains Distance and Nautical Distance. I carried out a local trip using this Activity type to validate the data displayed. I stopped part way through the trip, leaving the Activity still running. I checked the various fields on the screens while stationary for 10 minutes and the Nautical Distance field kept increasing even though I was not moving. It was a noticeable increase and at the end of 10 minutes the Nautical Distance had increased by 0.4 Nautical Miles. The distance field also increased but at a lower rate. The remaining distance to the waypoint and destination waypoint did not decrease , which is good. Could there be a bug where the Nautical Distance field is measuring all of the small local variations in location according to GPS accuracy, rather than averaging this 'apparent' but false change in location?
