Anyone grabbed one of these yet in Australia?

So I've preordered from js-gps the first day they email that they are now accepting pre-orders... fast forward today no news regarding the arrival of the watch in Aus nor any release date... what's more troublesome is that on Garmin it's saying that it'll be released in 5-8 weeks, welp.

If anyone here in Aus receives a shipping confirmation or knows a place we can order it locally then please do share.

Nope.
Other than the one you mention ja-gps, if they dont get them end of March they will probably have to wait till May like all the other retailers in Australia. Yes, Ive rung them.

This Chinese importer actually had them in stock a few days ago: www.dwidigitalcameras.com.au
but none left. I bought my F3HR from them a year ago.

I didnt buy from them as it wont have Australian maps included.

Damn... if only my Fitbit didn't bubble up I'd be willing to wait that long but still that is an absurd 2 months delay to us. I guess Garmin is slowly becoming Apple :/

Worse. At least Apple give a damn about their users with older hardware.

I received an email from Highly Tuned Athletes a few hours ago stating that they are getting their shipment from Garmin within 48hrs, and my pre-order will be there :)

Johnny Appleseed are pretty reliable. I think you will find you should get your pre-order (but I've been wrong before). I would have got mine from them, but lack of clarity about when Australian stock would arrive was a killer.
