How to Get rid of scroll bar on data screen

I've tried every menu option I know and no luck.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the scroll bar on the left side of an activity? I know how many data screens I have,&5: the most useless thing ever...and it blocks some of the data.

Only for setup. Try the app and you will notice that the scroll bar is gone.... :)

It's still there. I have 2-3 data screens depending on activity. Auto scroll on. And the status bar is still there

    You don't see it ?

Not during activity and auto-scroll off. Only when changing the screens manually the data screens the scrollbar arise for a short time. It's kind of useful to see at a glance at what number of data screen you are. After a second the scroll bar disappears.

I checked with AutoScroll on and the scroll bar is also visible only during screen changes. After change it disappears...
  • If the auto scroll is set so that the data screens change rapidly (few seconds per screen) the scroll bar will perhaps be shown continuously. Try lowering the display speed to eliminate that possibility.

that's the problem I'm having. If the status bar is there for second or two, it's still too much. If I'm on a trail trying to glace at my watch for a metric I do not want to wait for the data screen to figure itself out because it's blocking a number.
This obviously is nothing more than a nuisance but I don't expect many nuisances on an expensive watch, I expect options and usability.

I know I have 2-3 screens and I know what order they are in. Which number screen it's on is totally irrelevant. I haven't seen this 'feature' on any other Garmin devices, including the 3HR.

I turn off the auto scroll because I know how many page and its order. I don't want to wait till the next page show, I just press the UP or DOWN button, and never came to my mind that the scroll bar blocking any number :)
  • After some use I have to agree with SCIS30. It is completely unnecessary to have this scroll bar, especially when you have auto scroll enabled.
