Fenix 5 with NATO Straps - Pics

Hey guys - so my Fenix 5 graphite/black from REI arrived today. I'm upgrading from a Forerunner 235 and have a 5S Silver on order as well so will decide which one I'm keeping. Initial impressions are great! Just for fun, I took some shots with my MVMT NATO straps (yes of course I know no HRM but still it's a good look for a quick change).

Will go for a run or ride later.

Take care and let me know what you think of the look with the NATOs. I like the military / field watch look of the graphite with the camo nato strap. Not sure how will the 5S silver compare.

That looks more like a zulu than a nato ? Looks good though and unlike the silicone straps I tried (see Third party straps for the Fenix 5 ? to use the wide "pin" of the F5 looks it has all the room it needs here!

True and yes! These are MVMT (https://www.mvmtwatches.com/collections/all-mens-watches) Voyager straps and are actually 21mm but work very well and you can't tell.

Oh I'm seeing more straps now ;-)
They do look nice and the zulu straps should keep the oHR working although getting enough "grip" might be a problem.

Thanks - I tend to agree. How do you think the red accents (the triangle above the 12 position and around the activity button) go with this look? Or would it be better with an all-black or all grey version?

I'll also post these or similar straps witht he 5s once I receive it (20mm bands).

Do you have a link for the Zulu straps ? No problem to insert the rather thick pins of the F5 ?

Figured i'd ask since you posted pictures but does the new Fenix 5's bezel look darker or lighter than the old fenix 3HR? It seems to have a higher quality to it than the old 3HR, am i correct?

Definitely better build quality -- the slate grey almost has a "brushed aluminum" look/feel to it.

Thank you! I was hoping it was darker. I think the Black (sapphire) version takes away a bit from the look of the watch.
