Hi!

Can someone please detail the way in which the slate grey model is annodised?

I have pre-ordered the silver F5, as I am concerned the slate grey would, much like my iphone5, chip away over time. I understand this can't happen with the silver, as it's bare metal.

Are my thoughts correct or is the chipping issue only applicable to the black metallic edition found in the sapphire range?

It is for this reason I went with a non-sapphire pre order.

I have the slate grey F5 and I can confirm that it will definitely not chip. It will wear though.

It is a lot lighter in colour than the Grey F3 I had previously so it may be slightly more forgiving of deep scratches.

I would compare the F5 bezel to the iPhone 5S finish (aged much better than 5 and is still in my opinion probably the best iPhone) and the F3/HR bezel to the iPhone 5 (agree, got ugly quick)
