Haven't heard any orders going through yet for the 5 silver with granite blue band. Chatted with REI this morning and asked for estimated ship date. The rep told they have an order schedule to arrive on 4/2. Obviously that could change... Just wanted to share if anyone was in the same waiting boat as me!
I just chatted with REI in the U.S. and they said the Silver/Granite Blue has been pushed back to mid-May / early June. They said it's a wait and see approach.
I just spoke to them as well. I was told my order is in the next batch now and they expect it on April 17th... SO, that means I won't be getting it on April 5th as they told me last week... SAD say :(
Okay this is becoming insane - I just checked the REI online store and the Blue/Silver are in stock! I've got an estimated arrival date of April 07.
How is it possible that REI could have given such incorrect shipping information less than 24 hours ago (mid-June was the estimate).
This is crazy! I spoke with them yesterday too and they told me my order that I was supposed to receive on 4/5 wouldn't be shipping until 4/18. I cancelled yesterday. Just re-ordered and am getting an arrival of 4/10 now!
Got my Silver/Blue yesterday and am quite pleased. The bezel is brighter/shinier than in the stock pictures, which looks really good to me. Paired it with the yellow band from the sapphire watch I previously bought (that will be returned soon) to see how it would look. The track was solid as well.

I'm curious to know your thoughts on moving from the black sapphire to the blue silver. Was it concerns with the black bezel scratching, or something else?
Yes, only concerns with it scratching. I saw a few posts where the black bezel was scratched, and though mine hadn't scratched I figured it was just a matter time.
I'm happy with the silver though. It's a completely different look but equally as nice. I only wish it still had the sapphire glass. Plan to get some glass screen protectors to remedy that concern.
