Runnning Dynamics on Polar bluetooth HRM

Hello Folks,
Does anyone know if running dynamics are supported when using Bluetooth Heart rate monitors connected to a F5.

    Unless the BT HRM connected with F5 has similar internals as HRM-Run, I would find it highly unlikely.
  • No. The watch will do cadence internally; all of the other running dynamics are dependent on the HRM containing the right accelerometer components and sending the right messages. I don't think the Polar BT HRM has an accelerometer in the first place. The Wahoo Tickr X does, but since the Garmin dynamics details are proprietary, it doesn't send data which map to the Garmin dynamics.

    :( little sad but still overall F5 and F5s is very good watch size, screen, Alti , baro, comp

    last weekend wore onmy wrists both 5s and 5 it looks very good ....

    Running Dynamics are proprietary to Garmin chest straps that support it. You can get 3rd party straps or footpods that do similar data to Garmin's Running Dynamics and then upload that data to Garmin Connect via the IQ app system. Your Polar bluetooth HRM will not support anything you are looking for.
