Sell Fenix 3 Sapphire to get 5x

I was thinking I might get $300 or $350 my Fenix 3 sapphire on eBay to help pay for a 5x, but I see lots of re-furbed sapphire units with 1 year Garmin warranty for under $300.

I hadn't paid any attention to used prices until now. Have they been selling that low for awhile, or is it the pending 5 series that's gotten the price down?

Guess it's like cell phones and other technology; today's must-have is tomorrow's meh. Maybe I'll keep it 10 more years and it'll go up again because it's retro. I have a drawer full of older Garmins, a few Suuntos, and quite a few Casios. I guess this is joining them.

I sold my 3HR about a month ago trying to beat the selling rush that going to come soon... The 3HR market is about to get flooded and that will further hurt resale of the 3 non HR version..

When I sold my 3HR is was in mint condition and I got $400 for it..

I bought my F3 (non-HR) with an extra charging cradle and first ten HRM-Run for $320 back in December. So the price has been depressed since the rumors of a new Fenix started.

I sold my Fenix 3HR the moment the 5X was announced to avoid the price dive. So I've been using my wife's old ForeRunner 10 for run tracking and an old fashioned analog watch for telling time. I miss my fenix 3 - when will the fenix 5x finally ship?
