Does anyone seen the fonts on the fenix 5? Is it significantly easier to read than on the fenix 3 HR?
Is the altimeter/Barometer issue that is plaguing Fenix 3 HR issues resolved in the 5?
Are you able to do the font comparision between the 5S and the 735XT please?
I hit 50 this year and find it hard to read the 735XT when running in workout mode with 3 displays at night so was wondering if the 5s (as similiar size) would be any better or not?
Sounds like you are wanting a custom CIQ field where the fonts are whatever you want. I now pretty much only use my own developed screen layouts as full screen CIQ fields. I don't need labels to tell me what the fields are and it's nice to have 100% control over what the screen looks like.
If you have any programming experience, getting set up to do your own fields isn't too much work.

unfortunately not, as far as I know. Without writing your own phone companion app, no way to get at notifications like text messages or who's calling. So way more complicated. I've raised the issue in the past that CIQ should have access to the messages so you'd have more control over how and when they are displayed. I don't think I ever got a response on that request. Might be a privacy issue from Garmin's point of view.
If a timer field or any field longer than 3 characters is displayed in any of the side panels on a 4 field screen setup the first letter (on left) and last on Right is cut off.
So if I put the timer in the left box it does not display the hour indicator i.e. after 59 minutes it looks like you are back on 1.
Must say if I had the option again I would not buy this (5X). Loads of other issues as well including heart rate and s.... support from Garmin in South Africa.
